Oxygen and acetylene pressures depend on the tip size and the type of work, but generally, for oxy-acetylene welding, oxygen is set between 10–15 psi and acetylene between 5–7 psi. Always refer to the torch manufacturer's recommendations for exact settings. Never exceed 15 psi for acetylene, as higher pressures can be dangerous.
