Harris Deoxidized Copper GMAW (MIG) Welding Alloy - 00D0CH8
Typical Application
Used to weld copper base metals where good electrical conductivity exists.Deoxidized Copper GMAW (MIG) welding alloy is used to weld high copper content base metals where good electrical conductivity exists. This alloy produces trouble free welds that are a good color match to copper. Deox copper can also be used to weld copper-to-steel. Conforms to ANSI/AWS A 5.7 & ASME SFA-5.7 ERCu.
Features
• Designed to weld high copper content base metals with good electrical conductivity
• Typical applications include welding copper-to-steel or to overlay it
• Produces High Purity deposits for fabricating deoxidized copper
• Yields trouble-free welds
• Preheat required due to high thermal conductivity of copper base materials. Must select the current and shielding gas for the highest heat input
• Good color match to copper
• Excellent corrosion resistance
• Use with 100% argon or 25%/75% argon/helium shielding gas mixture
• Conforms to ANSI/AWS A 5.7 & ASME SFA-5.7 ERCu
