About Lincoln Excalibur 7018-A1 MR

E7018-A1 is an AWS A5.5 low-alloy low-hydrogen iron-powder basic-coated SMAW electrode with 70 ksi minimum tensile and a 0.5% molybdenum addition for elevated-temperature service. The Mo addition improves creep resistance and makes E7018-A1 the standard choice for C-Mo piping and pressure vessel welding to ASME Section I and Section VIII. Runs DC+ or AC in all positions; requires the same controlled storage and rebake discipline as E7018.
