Lincoln ED011280 Lincore 55 Flux-Cored (FCAW-S) Wire, 7/64 in, 50 lb Coil
Lincore 55 Flux-Cored Wire delivers a deposit which resists metal-to-metal rolling or sliding wear as well as mild abrasion. Composition and properties depend upon dilution. Single layer deposit properties depend upon base metal and/or build-up material. Cold parts should be warmed to at least 25ºC (75ºF). Higher preheat of 150 260ºC (300 500ºF) may be necessary on thick parts or heavy sections. Interpass temperature between 150ºC (300ºF) and 200ºC (400ºF) do not affect the hardness of Lincore 55 significantly.Features
• Delivers a deposit which resists metal-to-metal rolling or sliding wear as well as mild abrasion• To be used on carbon steel, low alloy steel and manganese steel
• Unlimited layers with proper preheat and interpass temperatures and procedures
