Typical applications include build-up of shovel/bucket lips, pump impellers/housings, pulverize plows and mill hammers OR hardfacing of trunnions, tractor rolls, cranes and gears. IT can be welded in flat & horizontal positions with unlimited layers (given proper preheat, interpass temperatures and procedures).

• Build-up with moderate hardness to resist shock and metal-to-metal wear, as in rolling and sliding
• Can be used as under base for other hardfacing deposits or as final overlay on parts to be machined or forged
