It is often used to protect parts exposed to salt water and certain acidic conditions. Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.7 & ASME SFA 5.7 ERCuAl-A2.

- Designed for joining aluminum bronze base metals, welding brass, steel and a variety of dissimilar metals
- Often used in marine hardware exposed to salt water and other acidic conditions
- This strong and tough alloy provides exceptional corrosion and wear resistance
- Pre-heat is generally not required unless welding high copper content base metals
- Typical applications include overlays on shafts, propellers, housings, couplings, bushings, valve seats and pumps
- Use with 100% Argon or 25/75% Argon/Helium shielding gas mixture
- Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.7 & ASME SFA 5.7 ERCuAl-A2
