Safety-Silv 45T high silver brazing alloy performs like a 45% silver cadmium-bearing alloy, but is cadmium-free. It is often specified in place of the popular Safety-Silv 45 (AWS BAg-5), as the tin addition lowers the melting temperature to improve flow characteristics. It has a lower melting temperature than Safety-Silv 45. Its excellent fillet-forming qualities produces high-strength, ductile joints. Certified to NSF Standard 51. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive.
