The Lincoln Frontier® 400X Pipe Engine Driven Welder Perkins (K3485-1) is an advanced welder/generator offering exceptional arc performance and versatility on the jobsite. Designed to tackle a wide range of welding applications, it provides up to 400 amps of welding power and 11 kW of auxiliary power. The machine features optimized CC and CV modes, along with specialized modes for mechanized equipment and advanced GMAW applications such as STT® and pulse welding.
The Frontier 400X Pipe stands out with its dedicated Pipe mode, designed to produce the classic DC-style arc ideal for downhill pipe welding, thanks to the innovative DigFX™ technology. The machine includes a next-gen 7-inch display with enhanced operator-focused features, such as memory recall, maintenance reminders, and optional PIN authorization for added security.
