Harris Stay Brite Lead-Free Solid Wire Solder 0.118 in. x 1 ea. 25 lb. spool in box - SB625
Typical Application
Soldering connections on copper, brass, steel and Stainless Steel.
Stay Brite lead-free solder is engineered to provide a strong, ductile connection on copper, brass, steel and Stainless Steel. The silver color is also a good color match to Stainless Steel. It is a eutectic filler metal with a single melting temperature. This low temperature, rapid melting characteristic promotes capillary flow and less base metal distortion and oxidation. It conforms to the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) NSF Standard 51 for food service equipment, NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components and NSF/ANSI 372 & the US Safe Drinking Water Act amendments. Conforms to the EU RoHS directive.
Features
• Industry standard solder for HVAC connections
• Engineered to provide strong, ductile connections on copper, brass, steel and Stainless Steel
• Silver color is a good match to Stainless Steel
• Its low temperature, rapid melting characteristic promotes capillary flow and less base metal distortion and oxidation
• Ideal for very tight connections
• Meets NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for food equipment materials
• Meets NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for drinking water system components - health effects
