Stay-Silv 15 Phos Copper filler metal is the industry standard for air conditioning/refrigeration applications. Its melting range is useful in filling wider clearances while providing good service ductility. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive.

Features


• Popular choice for copper brazing of air conditioning and refrigeration connections
• Flows into tight connections when heated above its liquidus temperature
• Wide melting range allows operators to fill loose connections and cap or build-up around finished joint. When heated above its liquidus it will penetrate tight connections.
• Popular brazing filler metal for HVAC and refrigeration connections
• Recommended joint clearance of 0.003 in. - 0.006 in. (0.08 mm - 0.15 mm)
• Flux not required for copper brazing as it is self-fluxing. For brazing brass or copper-to-brass Stay-Silv white flux is suitable for most applications. Harris Eco Smart boric acid free flux, powder or paste, is an excellent choice to promote sound brazed assemblies
