The Lincoln IDEALARC DC-400 - K1308-12 is a heavy-duty, industrial three-phase multi-process power source, delivering 400 amps of DC power for versatile welding applications. Ideal for MIG, flux-cored, submerged-arc welding, as well as stick and DC TIG welding, this machine is also excellent for arc gouging. Despite its flexibility, the DC-400 is simple to set up and use, making it a great choice for a wide range of welding jobs.
With the factory- or field-installed multi-process switch, changing between processes is effortless, allowing you to switch between CC (Stick/TIG/arc gouging), CV (MIG/flux-cored), and CV submerged-arc modes with ease. The onboard ammeter and voltmeter allow for easy monitoring of key welding parameters, while inductance and arc-force controls help refine the arc for different tasks. This welder is designed for demanding, repetitive welding applications, with solid-state circuitry providing extended life.
The DC-400 is backed by a three-year manufacturerβs warranty and offers various optional accessories, including undercarriages, remote output controls, and deluxe adjustable gas regulator and hose kits, making it a complete solution for your welding needs.
Key Features:
- Multi-Process Versatility β Capable of CC (Stick/TIG/arc gouging), CV (MIG/flux-cored), and CV submerged-arc modes, with easy changeover using the multi-process switch.
- Arc Force Control β Adjusts short circuit current for a soft or forceful arc in stick and TIG modes.
- Arc Control Adjustment β Modifies the pinch effect to control spatter, fluidity, and bead shape in MIG/flux-cored modes.
- High-Performance Welding β Ideal for stick and DC TIG welding, as well as air carbon arc gouging with up to 5/16" (8mm) carbon rods.
- Solid-State Circuitry β Provides extra-long life for repetitive welding applications.
- Full-Output Control β Single-range potentiometer for precise output control.
- Monitoring β Analog ammeter and voltmeter for easy monitoring of welding parameters.
- Input Voltage Compensation β Β±10% compensation to maintain weld consistency.
- Low-Profile Design β Allows stacking of machines up to three high to conserve floor space (stacking not recommended with undercarriage).
