The Frontier 400X offers exceptional job-site versatility with up to 400 amps (IEC rated at 325 amps) of welding current to tackle numerous welding and carbon arc gouging applications. It includes six optimized CC and CV modes, plus advanced modes to support pulsed TIG, pulsed MIG, STT®, and mechanized equipment. The bright, durable 7-inch digital user interface provides unmatched machine control with save and recall memories, maintenance reminders, and PIN authorization capabilities. CrossLinc® Technology allows communication through a standard weld cable to enable voltage or current control at the arc without a control cable, improving safety, quality, and productivity with fewer trips to the power source and reduced jobsite clutter. Beyond its advanced welding capabilities, the Frontier 400X delivers all-day auxiliary power with up to 11 kW of continuous three-phase power to run industrial tools such as plasma cutters, pumps, or inverter welders.
