The Harris 0HP Phos Copper Brazing Alloy 3/32" x 36" 25 lb Box - 0H536R is a phosphor-copper brazing alloy (BCuP-2). Phos-copper alloys are self-fluxing on copper and copper alloys — no separate flux is required when brazing copper to copper. However, flux IS required when brazing copper to brass, bronze, or steel. These alloys are widely used in HVAC/R applications for copper tubing joints.

Harris 0HP Phos Copper brazing alloy is an economical brazing filler metal (very fluid medium temperature brazing alloy) for joining copper, brass, and bronze. Will withstand moderate vibration. Recommended joint clearance is .002 in. - .005 in. Stay Silv 0HP, (and other phosphorus containing filler metals), should not be used to braze ferrous or nickel alloy base metals. Complies with the EU Reach & RoHS directive.

- When brazing brass, operators should avoid over heating and use Stay Silv white brazing flux
- Not recommended for brazing steel or other ferrous base metals
- Corrosion resistance is generally similar to the copper base metal, but phosphorus containing alloys, including Harris 0HP, should not be used if the braze is exposed to sulfur or sulfur compounds in service
- Recommended joint clearance of 0.002 in. - 0.005 in. (0.05 mm - 0.13 mm)
