What is the Harris 2290-2H P/M Heavy Heating Tip - 1800146 used for?

The Harris 2290-2H P/M Heavy Heating Tip - 1800146 is a Harris Products Group accessory designed for use with Harris torches, regulators, or cutting/brazing equipment. Harris Products Group manufactures a comprehensive line of gas equipment including torches, tips, regulators, hose assemblies, and specialty accessories for welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering operations.

What Harris torch or equipment is the Harris 2290-2H P/M Heavy Heating Tip - 1800146 compatible with?

Harris accessories are designed for compatibility with specific Harris torch handles, bodies, and tip seats. Before ordering replacement tips or fittings, verify the thread type and tip series match your torch model. Harris tip series identifiers (e.g., Model 18, 19, 23A) are included in the product title — match these to your existing torch handle designation.

How should I inspect and maintain the Harris 2290-2H P/M Heavy Heating Tip - 1800146?

Gas equipment accessories including torch tips, seats, and fittings should be inspected regularly: check tip orifices for enlargement, distortion, or blockage (clean with tip cleaners, not drill bits — oversized tip orifices are unsafe), inspect all threaded connections for cross-threading or galling, and verify O-rings and seals show no cracking or deformation. Leaking gas fittings are a fire hazard — replace immediately.

What fuel gases is the Harris 2290-2H P/M Heavy Heating Tip - 1800146 rated for?

The Harris 2290-2H P/M Heavy Heating Tip - 1800146 should only be used with fuel gases and pressures within its rated specifications. Harris gas equipment is rated for specific fuel gases (acetylene, propane, natural gas, MAP-Pro); using an accessory outside its rated fuel gas can cause dangerous flashback or equipment failure. Always verify the fuel gas compatibility listed in the product description or on the equipment label.

What warranty does the Harris 2290-2H P/M Heavy Heating Tip - 1800146 carry?

Harris Products Group accessories carry a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Physical damage from misuse, over-pressure operation, or improper cleaning (e.g., using oversized tip cleaners that enlarge the tip orifice) is not covered. Contact WeldingMart.com with your order information for warranty service on any defective Harris accessory.
