Harris 309LT1-1 Dynacore .035 Stainless Flux-Cored FCAW Welding Wire 25# Spool - 309LFC38
309LT1-1 Dynacore® stainless steel flux-cored (FCAW-S) welding wire is used to join dissimilar steels and materials of AISI 309 composition. It is also recommended for use as a first layer in a single or multilayer surfacing of non-alloy and low ally steels to give a 304L deposit. By specifying low carbon content in this alloy, it’s impossible to obtain resistance to intergranular corrosion due to carbide precipitation without the use of stabilizers such as columbium or titanium. This material is generally used with 100% carbon dioxide, or mixtures of argon/carbon dioxide, typically a 75%/25% mixture. Recommended 5/8 in .- 3/4 in. wire stick out. Conforms to AWS A5.22.
Features
- Stainless steel 309LT1-1 flux-cored welding wire joins dissimilar steels and materials of AISI 309 composition
- Recommended as first layer for surfacing non-alloy and low-alloy steels
- Use of columbium or titanium as stabilizers to prevent intergranular corrosion due to carbide precipitation
- Use with 100% carbon dioxide or mixtures of argon (75%)/carbon dioxide (25%)
- Suggested wire stick-out is 5/8 in. - 3/4 in. (15.9mm - 19.1mm)
- 87,000 psi tensile strength (as welded)
- 57,000 psi yield strength (as welded)
- 30% min. elongation (as welded)
- Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.22 & ASME SFA 5.22 E 309LT1-1
