ER90S-B3 low alloy steel TIG (GTAW) for welding 2-1/4 in. chromium-molybdenum steels used in high-pressure piping and pressure vessels. Also, used for joining dissimilar combinations of chromium-molybdenum and carbon steels. Conforms to AWS 5.28, ER90S-B3.

- Welds 2-1/4% chromium/1% molybdenum steel alloys
- Joining carbon steels to chromium-molybdenum steels
- Control pre-heat, inter-pass and post heat to avoid cracking
- Use with pre-heat and inter-pass temperature of 375◦F min. (191◦C min.)
- Often used in high temperature and high-pressure piping vessels
- Conforms to AISI/AWS A5.28 & ASME SFA 5.28 ER 90S-B3
- Marked with model number on each end for easy identification after use
