This series of two-stage, ultra high-purity regulators is designed for non-corrosive analytical and process applications where precise flow is not critical. A specially designed, convoluted, stainless steel diaphram provides good regulating performance and maxium putity integrity. These regulators are capable of withstanding an internal vacum and can be provided with a diffusion-resistant valve.

Overview

Model HP722 is a two-stage cylinder regulator in brass barstock designed to provide constant delivery pressure from full to near-empty cylinder conditions. The Model HP722 is suitable for high-purity gas applications, research sample system gases, process analyzer gases, gas chromatography, EPA protocol gases, laser gas systems, and emission monitoring systems.

  • One-piece encapsulated seat design with a 10-micron sintered internal filter to protect the PTFE Teflon seat from particulate contamination
  • External relief valve is standard

  • 2" dual-scale brass barstock gauges (psi/bar)
  • Designed to a 1 x 10⁻⁹ cc/sec inboard helium leak rate to maintain gas purity levels
  • Maximum inlet pressure: 3000 PSIG, except for models with CGA 300 and 510, which are equipped with a 400 PSIG inlet gauge
  • Front- or back-panel mountable
  • Conforms to CGA E-4 standards for gas pressure regulators
