Harris Safety-Silv 30 Flux Cored High Silver Brazing Alloy .075 X 100 toz FLUX CORED SPOOL - 30CW075100SP
Safety-Silv 30CW high silver brazing filler metal is often specified as an economical replacement for higher silver content brazing alloys. This is a Flux Cored alloy that contains an inner core of brazing flux. The design eliminates the labor of a separate flux application thus reducing labor costs. It also limits the amount of applied flux, so post-braze cleaning time is often less and there is reduced possibility of flux trapped inside the tube. Safety-Silv 30 Flux Cored wire has a wide melting range, so it is useful in filling connections where tight clearance cannot be maintained. It is cadmium-free and is an excellent replacement for many of the hazardous cadmium containing brazing products. Safety Silv 30 Flux Cored alloy is primarily used to braze copper, brass, bronze, and steel. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive.
Features
- Economical, cadmium-free, replacement for higher silver content brazing alloys.
- Moderate ductility and slightly higher melting temperature than alloys containing higher percentages of silver and/or tin
- Wide melting range
- Good flow properties and excellent fillet forming qualities
- Fills connections where tight clearance cannot be maintained
- Designed to braze copper, brass, bronze and steel
- Flux inner core means no manual flux application is required providing significant cost savings
- Complies with the EU Reach & RoHS directive
