Kemper FilterMaster XL Weld Fume Extractor Complete Unit, solid steel construction, ships with 14ft arm, exhaust hood with 360 degree swivel rotation, Self-Cleaning Filtration system when attached to a 90 PSI airline. Comes with One Exhaust Arm, 14-foot long, 6" diameter.

The FilterMaster XL is the base model of our cartridge filter units, which are equipped with our high-efficiency KemTex ePTFE membrane filter cartridges. The great advantage of these filters as opposed to disposable filters is, in addition to their high separation efficiency, the ability to clean them.

This unit requires a 90 PSI airline to be attached to the unit at all times so it can complete its automated self-cleaning cycles. The FilterMaster XL integrated controls monitor the collected dust on the surface of the filter media and activates the cleaning cycle when necessary.

This unit provides the best protection against harmful high-alloyed metals and is therefore especially suited for the extraction of welding smoke where Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI) is a concern.

With a separation rate of > 99.9%, this unit is suitable for the removal of alveoli damaging dust (dust particles < 0.4 µm that can enter your bloodstream and cause serious diseases).

Filter life varies depending on what type of metal is being welded but typical lifespan is approximately 1-3 years if welding mild steel up to 40 hours a week.
