Overview

APF 1000 Long Headcovering for VIKING™ 3350 PAPR welding helmets. KP3940-2 is the long FR head covering that raises the VIKING™ 3350 PAPR system to an Assigned Protection Factor of 1000. It attaches with hook and loop, needs no tools, and is the shroud supplied installed on the VIKING™ 3350 LED PAPR. Soft, lightweight flame-retardant fabric keeps the operator comfortable through a full shift while extending coverage down over the neck and shoulders.

Features
  • Assigned Protection Factor 1000 - The long head covering delivers APF=1000 protection on the VIKING™ 3350 PAPR system when the employer implements a continuing respirator program in compliance with the Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134).
  • Hook and Loop Attachment - Installs and removes without tools so a worn or contaminated shroud can be swapped on the shop floor.
  • Flame Retardant Fabric - Soft and lightweight FR fabric maximizes comfort when using a PAPR system while resisting sparks and spatter.
