Short FR head covering for VIKING 3350 PAPR helmets. Rated APF=25 and attaches with hook and loop.

Overview

APF 25 Short Headcovering for VIKING™ 3350 PAPR welding helmets. KP3940-1 is the short FR head covering for the VIKING™ 3350 PAPR system, rated at an Assigned Protection Factor of 25. It attaches with hook and loop, needs no tools, and ships as the alternative head cover in the VIKING™ 3350 LED PAPR package. The shorter cut trades the full shoulder coverage of the APF 1000 shroud for a lower profile that many operators prefer in tight quarters and hot shops.

Features
  • Assigned Protection Factor 25 - The short head covering delivers APF=25 protection on the VIKING™ 3350 PAPR system when the employer implements a continuing respirator program in compliance with the Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134).
  • Hook and Loop Attachment - Installs and removes without tools so a worn or contaminated shroud can be swapped on the shop floor.
  • Flame Retardant Fabric - Soft and lightweight FR fabric maximizes comfort when using a PAPR system while resisting sparks and spatter.
  • Lower Profile Coverage - The shorter cut is the preferred choice in tight quarters and hot environments where the full-length APF 1000 shroud is more coverage than the job calls for.
