About Lincoln Chromet 2X
E9018-B3 is an AWS A5.5 low-alloy low-hydrogen SMAW electrode with 90 ksi minimum tensile and a 2.25 Cr / 1.0 Mo alloy composition (P22) for high-temperature service to ~1100 F. It is the standard electrode for welding P22 steam piping in power-generation and refinery service. Runs DC+ or AC in all positions; PWHT is required for code work.
