The Lincoln Chromet 5 Stick (SMAW) Welding Rod is a 5% chromium, ½% molybdenum (5Cr-½Mo) low-hydrogen basic-coated SMAW electrode classified to AWS A5.5M E8015-B6 H4. Chromet 5 is specifically engineered for high-integrity welding of creep-resisting steels in elevated-temperature service — used in power generation, petrochemical refinery piping, and process plant applications requiring resistance to creep, oxidation, and sulphur-bearing environments at service temperatures up to 600°C.

Applications
