Solid MIG (GMAW) wire feeds continuously through the gun, which keeps the arc stable and lets the operator focus on travel and angle. Wire chemistry must match the base metal, and shielding gas must match the wire type, per AWS A5 classifications.
Lincoln Innershield NR-305 3/32 inch Welding Wire is designed for in-position, high deposition welding on carbon steel. Recommended in single or multiple pass, automatic and semiautomatic welding.
- High deposition rates in the flat and horizontal positions
