Overview

SuperGlaze 5556 1/16 is an Aluminum Magnesium Manganese alloy engineered to provide the highest as-welded strengths in fillet welds. Designed for high-strength base materials such as 5083, it also delivers strong performance on 6XXX series alloys. With increased magnesium and manganese content, SuperGlaze® 5556 offers excellent corrosion resistance and high columnar strength, making it ideal for demanding fabrication environments.
