E2594-16 is an AWS A5.4 super-duplex stainless SMAW electrode with 110 ksi minimum tensile and ~25 Cr / 9.5 Ni / 4 Mo / 0.25 N chemistry, designed for welding super-duplex grades 2507 (UNS S32750) and Zeron 100 (UNS S32760) used in offshore oil and gas, chemical-process, and seawater service. Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) exceeds 40, delivering exceptional pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. Heat input control (0.5-1.5 kJ/mm) and interpass temperature ≤300 deg F are critical to maintain austenite-ferrite balance. Runs on AC or DC+ in all positions.
