E320LR-16 is an AWS A5.4 niobium-stabilized fully-austenitic stainless SMAW electrode with 75 ksi minimum tensile and ~20 Cr / 34 Ni / 2.5 Mo / 3.5 Cu chemistry, designed for welding 20Cb-3 / Alloy 20 (UNS N08020) and similar high-nickel-molybdenum-copper alloys used in sulfuric acid and corrosive chemical service. The LR (low residuals) designation tightens silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur limits to reduce hot cracking. Runs on AC or DC+ in all positions.
