Lincoln Excalibur 347-16 is an AWS A5.4 E347-16 niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless SMAW electrode with 75 ksi minimum tensile, designed for welding 347, 321, and other niobium- or titanium-stabilized austenitic grades used in high-temperature service. The niobium addition ties up carbon and prevents intergranular corrosion (knife-line attack) at sustained 800-1500 deg F service temperatures. The lime-titania (-16) coating delivers smooth arc, easy slag removal, and X-ray quality welds. Runs on AC or DC+ in all positions.
