Because the Flex Lase Cobot cart is a Class 1 laser system, laser radiation is fully enclosed during normal operation — simplifying deployment by reducing or eliminating the need for specialized laser safety controls. Collaborative force sensors built directly into the robot remove the need for traditional fencing without reducing operator safety (compliant to RIA TR R15.606), while the cart-mounted enclosure’s large front opening and sliding top section provide clear access for programming from three sides.
