High-Chromium Hardfacing Welding Wire is engineered for extreme abrasion resistance in demanding industrial environments where component longevity and reduced downtime are critical. Designed for flat and horizontal welding positions, this wire delivers exceptional hardness and wear life with deposits that outperform conventional chrome carbide and complex carbide alloys—particularly in wet abrasion conditions. When applied on carbon steel, the deposit is limited to two layers, achieving Rockwell hardness values of 67–70 HRC with extremely low wear rates of approximately 0.13 g mass loss. Weld deposit chemistry and final properties are influenced by dilution, base material, and any build-up layers used.
