The Lincoln Ranger 230MP (K5938-1) is a compact multi-process welder generator built for crews that want simple setup, dependable output, and jobsite-ready generator power. Straightforward controls and a single, glove-friendly knob keep the focus on the work, not the machine. Running cooler, quieter, and longer, its reduced-weight, balanced design enhances jobsite mobility while delivering consistent, dependable output with seamless transitions between welding and generator use.
Designed for ease of maintenance, a rear-engine layout gives unmatched access to key service parts. The Ranger 230MP comes factory filled with 300-hour premium oil to maximize runtime and is equipped with an electric fuel pump for reliable fueling. With 230 amps of multi-process welding output and 10 kW of clean generator power, it handles MIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored processes across construction, farm, maintenance and repair, and service applications.
Powered by a 23.5 HP Rehlko CH730 gasoline engine (725 cc) with an electronic choke and auto-idle, the Ranger 230MP runs efficiently and quietly. GFCI-protected receptacles add protection when powering jobsite tools, and the IP23S-rated enclosure is built for durability in tough outdoor conditions.
