Flexible Heat Placement. The Lincoln Electric® Thermal Wave™ Preheat Heating Cable K5672-5M is a flexible 16.4 ft (5 m) induction heating cable designed for use with the Thermal Wave Induction Heating System, which delivers 50 kW of continuous output with a 100% duty cycle. Preheat Heating Cables provide flexible heat placement for weld preheat and interpass temperature control on pipe, vessel and structural fabrication applications, with a maximum temperature of 572°F (300°C) when used with appropriate insulation.
Availability: Pre-orders open October 29, 2026. Target ship date is within 60 days, with the official launch in late December 2026.
