Flexible Heat Placement. The Lincoln Electric® Thermal Wave™ Preheat Heating Cable K5672-25M is a flexible 82.0 ft (25 m) induction heating cable designed for use with the Thermal Wave Induction Heating System, which delivers 50 kW of continuous output with a 100% duty cycle. Preheat Heating Cables provide flexible heat placement for weld preheat and interpass temperature control on pipe, vessel and structural fabrication applications, with a maximum temperature of 572°F (300°C) when used with appropriate insulation.
