The compact Vantage® 500-I is an ideal choice for demanding construction, pipe or repair applications. Designed as rugged and reliable, this machine is Desert Duty™ rated to standup against hot and harsh environments. The machine features up to 500 amps with multi-process capabilities and plenty of auxiliary power to address job site needs. All powered by the popular 404 series Perkins industrial diesel engine for high reliability and low fuel consumption.

- Compact Versatility – Offers up to 500 amps (IEC rated at 400 amps) of welding current to tackle numerous welding and carbon arc gouging applications. Select one of five basic process modes including CC-Stick, Downhill Pipe, DC Touch Start TIG®, CV-Wire, or Arc Gouging mode, which maximizes output for up to 5/16 in. (8.0 mm) carbon rods.
- Generator Output – Provides up to 17 kW of continuous three-phase power to run industrial tools such as plasma cutters, pumps, or inverter welders.
- Patented Chopper® Technology – Experience premium arc performance with minimized spatter for stick or pipe welding as well as enhanced gouging performance that prevents the engine from stalling, resulting in smooth material removal.
- Desert Duty™ Rated – Engineered tough and field proven for ruggedness and durability to meet the most challenging job site needs and harshest environments. Tested for extreme temperature operation up to 55°C.
- Industrial Diesel Engine – Powered by a 32.7 hp, turbocharged Perkins® diesel engine. Runs smooth and quiet while meeting EPA Tier 4i compliance.
- Integrated Residual Current Device (RCD) – Includes RCD for extra protection in the auxiliary power circuit.
