Harris Model 6290-7NH Machine Cutting Tip - 1501140
Model 6290-NH is a high-speed oxy-propane/natural gas machine cutting tip with an unplated brass shell (0.088 cup depth). This tip maximizes kerf while increasing cutting speeds to reduce heat input. The tip produces high-quality cuts thus reducing afterwork. The 6290-NH tip is used with low-cost fuel gases.
Features
- Unplated brass heat resistant heavy shell (.088 cup depth)
- For use with low cost alternate fuel gases - propane/natural gas (NOT FOR USE WITH ACETYLENE)
- Minimizes kerf
- Increased cutting speeds reduce heat input
- High quality cuts reduce afterwork
- Use next size larger tip with same PSIG for contour or intricate cutting
- For thin plate cutting use a highly carburizing preheat flame
- Measure cutting oxygen pressures at torch entry
- When using two hose machine torches, set oxygen pressure at cutting oxygen PSIG
